A plain-language explanation of optional analytics cookies, Brandspire's consent preference storage, and how advertising consent will be handled if ads are enabled.

Site preference

Brandspire stores your analytics preference in your browser.

The site stores a small local browser preference named brandspire-analytics-consent-v1 so it can remember whether you allowed or rejected optional analytics. This preference is stored in local storage rather than as an advertising cookie.

The UTM builder, color contrast checker, and manual Open Graph preview do not currently save your tool inputs between visits or set their own tracking cookies.

Optional analytics

Google Analytics cookies are created only after you allow analytics.

If you choose “Allow analytics,” Brandspire loads Google Analytics 4. Google Analytics may then create first-party cookies including _ga, used to distinguish users, and _ga_<container-id>, used to maintain session state. Google documents a default expiration of up to two years for these cookies, subject to browser restrictions and configuration.

Brandspire uses Analytics to understand aggregate usage of guides and tools. Advertising-related Google consent signals remain denied in this analytics-only implementation.

Future advertising

An ads.txt file does not itself place advertising cookies.

Brandspire currently publishes an ads.txt file for Google publisher authorization, but this application does not yet load Google AdSense ad code. When AdSense or another advertising platform is activated, advertising storage and consent disclosures will be updated to match the live implementation.

For Google publisher advertising in regions where Google requires it, Brandspire will use an appropriate Google-certified consent management platform before serving affected personalized ads. See the Privacy Policy for the broader data-handling disclosure.

Your choices

You can keep analytics off or change your preference later.

Choose “Keep analytics off” in the preference banner to use the site without optional Google Analytics. Use “Cookie settings” in the footer at any time to review or change your choice. Your browser can also delete cookies and local storage directly.
